Handling and Care: The handle is made out of Bamboo and has an anti-fungal coating, so you do not have to worry about your toothbrush getting those icky black spots on it. We however suggest that your still air-dry your toothbrush on a holder with enough aeration. 
 
The bristles are BPA free Nylon bristles, coated with Natural Bamboo Charcoal. These need to be removed from the brush before adding the handle into your compost bin.
